This bucket has three sub-buckets/areas to focus

  • Behavioral = what happened (Project conflicts, leadership, ownership, failures)
  • Project Articulation = what you built (Architecture, tradeoffs, impact, scaling, influence)
  • Staff-Level Communication = how you communicate (Structured thinking, concise explanations, ambiguity handling, senior-level presence)

They overlap heavily, but communication acts as a layer across all interview types.

Affirmation

I already have the experience. This plan helps me turn it into clear, structured, interview-ready stories and deliver them with calm, senior communication.

Assumptions

  • Behavioral includes three parts: MBI reading, project articulation, and communication.
  • MBI is the primary learning source, but reading alone is not enough.
  • Project articulation means preparing previous/current project stories.
  • Communication is practiced through delivery: structure, clarity, pacing, and handling uncertainty.
  • Each week should include reading, story building, and practice.

Weekly Output

By the end of each week, I should have:

  • read the planned MBI sections
  • improved at least one story
  • practiced at least one answer out loud
  • noted one communication habit to improve
